Business: Norwood Farmers Market
Peter McFarland is currently the treasurer and has been a member of the Friends of Norwood Center Board since its relaunch in 2014. He helped to develop the mission statement to drive awareness and attract people to Norwood Center and all the great places to shop, dine and have fun. Peter chaired key comedy fundraisers in 2016 and 2018 bringing in Lenny Clark as the headliner.
In the summer of 2022, Peter worked with the Norwood Sustainability Commission and brought back the Norwood Farmers Market on the Town Common. The work behind the return of the market was to promote healthy eating and encourage local shopping, all while building community.
